St. Louis Sports Commission
Since 2015, I’ve created video content on St. Louis-area professional, amateur and youth sports which caught the attention of the nonprofit organization that works to attract and manage massive athletic events to the region. The Commission has hired me to produce video content for their marquee events. Here are a few examples of my work:
On Nov. 21 2020, the day that would have been Stan ‘The Man’ Musial’s 100th birthday, St. Louis Cardinals fans young and not so young joined in a pandemic-safe, drive-by birthday party outside Busch Stadium in downtown St. Louis. I was tasked with interviewing the Musial family and capturing the excitement and joy of those who came to celebrate Stan.
In a triumphant return to major sports events, St. Louis hosted the U.S. Gymnastic Olympic Trials ahead of the 2020 Tokyo games (pushed to 2021 due to pandemic). Myself and drone operator Justin Barr (a.k.a. STL From Above) produced a sizzle reel of the 6-day event at The Dome At America’s Center in June of 2021.
This is a sizzle reel of the 2021 Musial Awards – known as the most inspiring night in sports. Some of the honorees were Wayne “The Great One” Gretzky and his wife Janet, the LSU Gymnastics team and a high school football player whose act of sportsmanship went viral. Videographer for Cardinals broadcaster Mike Claiborne
Through my work with KMOX 1120, the radio partner of the St. Louis Cardinals, I’ve been able to become close with some of the great personalities involved with game broadcasts. One of them, Mike Claiborne, has hired me to produce videos for his podcast website, ClaibsOnline. Here’s one project we worked on during Spring Training in 2019 called “The Grip.”
Two-time Cardinals World Series champion, Adam Wainwright
Hall of Fame inductee, MVP and Cy Young winner, Dennis Eckersley
